it's not a new brilliant idea but i recently purchased an huge old school map for my son's room . . . just hung it over the weekend and it's great . . . we love pointing things out to him, he's fascinated by it . . . and it's instant art . . . hate to use that terminology but that's what it is . . . . it's only of the united states though which bums me out a bit but perhaps we will get him a world map as well . . .
